Does this sound familiar?
You may be functioning normally on the outside, but internally...
-
Your mind keeps running even when you want to rest.
-
You replay conversations or situations in your head.
-
You feel mentally exhausted without knowing why.
-
Stress shows up as tightness, tension or restlessness in your body.
-
You find it difficult to slow down.
-
You want to relax, but simply telling yourself to "relax" doesn't work.
-
You spend a lot of time in your head and find it difficult to feel present.
What if your mind and body are simply responding to each other?
This session is about understanding that connection — and learning how to work with it.
What we'll explore
Yoga gives us a way to observe the relationship between our mind, breath and body.
In this session, we'll look at that relationship in a practical, accessible way — without making it overly technical or philosophical.
You'll learn how to notice what's happening within you and experience simple practices that can help you respond differently.
This is not a yoga class focused on poses.
It's a practical exploration of mind, breath, body and awareness.
In 90 minutes, we'll explore:
🧠 The Mind
How thoughts and mental patterns can influence how we feel and respond.
🌬️ The Breath
Why your breathing can change with your state of mind — and how conscious breathing can become a practical tool.
🧘 The Body
Learning to recognise where stress and emotions may show up physically.
👁️ Awareness
Moving from simply reacting to noticing what's happening within you.
🌿 Yoga-Based Practices
Simple practices involving breath, movement and awareness that you can take into everyday life.
🧘♀️ Guided Practice
A short guided experience to bring the concepts together.
What you'll take away
You'll leave with more than information.
By the end of the session, you'll have:
-
A clearer understanding of the mind–body connection
-
Greater awareness of your own stress patterns
-
Simple tools you can use when you feel mentally overwhelmed or physically tense
-
A better understanding of how breath influences your state
-
A short practice you can return to in everyday life
-
A practical way to pause, observe and respond rather than simply react
This is for you if...
-
You are new to yoga.
-
You already practise yoga but want to understand it beyond physical movement.
-
You experience everyday stress or mental overload.
-
You tend to overthink.
-
You find it difficult to switch off.
-
You carry tension in your body.
-
You want to become more aware of your mind and body.
-
You want practical tools you can actually use.
You don't need to be flexible, experienced or "good at yoga."
You simply need to come with an open mind and 90 minutes for yourself.
